THE DRIFT FESTIVAL 2008
For The Drift Festival we performed an incarnation of our live 1 hour 15 minute audiovisual set, IN MEDIAS RES, on Friday, September 26th, 2008 at the Rhizome Cafe.
IN MEDIAS RES is a piece about 12 different characters "caught" in acts that are neither definitive nor poignant. Each character was found in the middle of things. The video cut, looped and scratched in sync with live experimental techno.
About the Drift Festival
Formed in 2004, the Main Art Drift Society organizes the annual Drift event to help promote local artists and artisans. The Society supports local art in other ways as well, by providing an environment for artists to get together and share knowledge, and by offering opportunities for artistic and professional growth.
